If you’ve ever looked around and wondered, “How are all these other coaches getting clients so easily?”—you’re not alone. From the outside, it always looks effortless. But when you’re in it—building pages, trying different strategies, working on your mindset—it can feel like nothing’s clicking.
Here’s the truth: there are only two things you need to do to get coaching clients online.
✅ Build trust with an audience
✅ Put irresistible offers in front of them
That’s it. Those two steps, done consistently, are what move the needle in your coaching business. In this post, I’m walking you through exactly how to do both using my proven six-step process.
Why Everything Comes Down to Trust and Offers
Think about the last time you signed up for a coaching program. What made you say yes?
Chances are, you trusted the coach. You believed they could help you. And they made a clear offer that spoke directly to your problem.
That’s what your clients need from you too.
-
Trust is the foundation. If they don’t trust your perspective, process, or presence, they won’t buy.
-
Offers are the action step. If you never say, “Here’s how to work with me,” no one will move forward.
Most coaches struggle because they’re doing everything except these two steps in a repeatable, intentional way.
How to Build Trust with Your Audience
The first four steps of my system are all about building trust:
-
Define Your Offers
If your offer is vague, people won’t feel confident in you. You need to clearly articulate who it’s for, what result you help them get, and how.
-
Create a Lead Magnet
This is your first “trust deposit.” Give something valuable up front—no strings attached. Show your audience that you get their problem and you know how to help.
-
Nurture with Email
Once someone’s on your list, don’t ghost them. Use your email sequence to share real value, build familiarity, and show what it’s like to work with you.
-
Show Up Weekly with Content
Whether it’s a blog, podcast, or video series—consistency builds trust. You don’t need to go viral. You need to be reliable.
Reminder: You don’t need a big audience—you need a warmed-up one.
How to Make Irresistible Offers
The final two steps of my process turn that trust into paying clients:
-
Make Consistent Offers
At least once a month, give your audience a chance to take the next step. This could be a free training, a group program, or 1:1 coaching. Use language like:
“If this resonated and you want to take the next step, here’s how we can do that together.”
-
Send Traffic
Use content, collaborations, or ads to keep new people entering your world. Feed them into your trust-building funnel so your audience (and client base) continues to grow.
Pro tip: An irresistible offer isn’t just about urgency or bonuses. It’s about relevance. Speak to the real problems your ideal clients want solved.
What Most Coaches Get Wrong
Many coaches skip the trust-building and go straight to selling. Others give free content forever but never actually invite people to work with them.
You need both pieces.
✅ Build trust
✅ Make clear, consistent offers
You don’t need a big launch or fancy funnel. You just need a system that does these two things on repeat.
Want to See This in Action?
If you’re thinking about building a group coaching program—or just want to see how these strategies work in the real world—I have something for you.
It’s a free report called “Get Paid to Build Your Group Coaching Program.”
Inside, I walk you through how I helped a client earn $40K while building her program—before it was even finished. We focused on building trust with her audience first, and that trust made her offer an easy yes.
Even better? It also boosted demand for her 1:1 coaching.
