It always features the same two voices. They banter, tell zingers, and do an ok job of pulling out real insights from the content.

It’s not just summarizing. That is what is different here.

This is different from every other AI tool I’ve ever experienced.

That’s why I wanted to share it with you. And, it’s free.

Is it perfect? No. It’s still AI in 2024.

But, this is a solid step forward towards AI creating something new that wasn’t summarized, reworded or just used as brainstorming.

The steps are extremely simple.

Step #1 – Google “NotebookLM”. Follow the link to the tool.

Step #2 – Click to try it out. 

Step #3 – Input your sources. Let them upload.

Step #4 – Click to “Generate” Audio Overview. Let it do its thing.

Step #5 – Regenerate if needed.

You can make have it redo the whole file by deleting the Audio Overview and clicking to regenerate. I did get some varying results based on which of my sources I had selected to include.
