If you’re a life coach who wants to hit six figures, you probably already know this truth:
Being a great coach isn’t enough.
You can be an incredible listener. A master at asking powerful questions. A wizard at helping clients create breakthroughs. But unless you also develop the mindset of a six-figure business owner, you’ll always feel like you’re spinning your wheels.
Here’s the good news: Hitting six figures comes down to simple math and mindset (which you can shift).
1. The Math
Let’s demystify what $100k actually looks like.
You don’t need a huge following. You don’t need to post 3 times a day on 5 different platforms. You just need a clear path and offers that make sense for your audience.
Here are a few simple math examples:
• 10 clients pay $10,000 → $100,000
• 50 clients pay $2,000 → $100,000
• 500 clients pay $200 → $100,000
The mix you choose depends on your niche, your delivery model, and how you like to work. But once you see that six figures is just math—it stops being some mysterious dream and starts being an achievable target.
2. Mindset
The second piece is less about spreadsheets and more about what happens in your head.
Here are three mindset shifts that will help you grow into your six-figure self:
Believe in Your Ability to Create Results
Most life coaches believe in coaching—but not always in themselves as business owners.
That self-doubt shows up in inconsistent marketing, underpricing, and hesitation to make offers.
If you’ve helped one person, you can help many. Full stop.
Remind yourself that results don’t come from being perfect—they come from showing up, again and again, for the people you serve.
Know That You Deserve Success
If your brain whispers, “Who am I to make six figures coaching?”—you’re not alone.
But let’s flip that.
Who are you not to earn well while helping others transform their lives?
The work you do matters. And you deserve to be well paid for meaningful work. You’re not charging for time—you’re charging for impact.
Price Based on Value, Not Hours
Most life coaches undercharge because they calculate their rate like an employee—hour by hour.
But you’re not selling hours.
You’re offering transformation. Clarity. Confidence. Peace. Momentum. These are priceless.
When you shift your focus from time to value, your pricing will start to reflect the real power of your coaching.
Hitting six figures isn’t reserved for the most charismatic, visible, or extroverted coaches. It’s for the coach who gets clear, makes intentional decisions, and chooses to believe in their ability to create results.
The strategies matter—but the mindset behind them? That’s what allows it all to work.
